ALBROMET GmbH exhibited at Tube 2026 in Düsseldorf for the first time in 10 years. As the world’s leading trade fair for the tube industry, Tube showcased the entire spectrum of raw materials, tube production, tube processing, tube accessories, forming technology and the machines and systems available for this. Right in the middle of Hall 5, the ALBROMET team presented its tools for rotary draw bending (mandrel bending) such as bending mandrels, crease smoothers (strippers), bending rolls and bending dies. Partner LBi oil free also presented its sustainable and oil-free lubricants.
The focus of the highly international trade fair presentation was on the large selection of bending tools, combined with expert advice and a comprehensive range of application-specific coatings. In the immediate vicinity of the ALBROMET exhibition stand, visitors were able to experience many bending machines live and experience the challenges of large pipe diameters, demanding pipe materials or small bending radii. The bent tube materials ranged from copper, brass, aluminum, steel and stainless steel to titanium and Inconel.
The team from partner LBI oil free presented its sustainable lubricants and dosing technology to match Albromet’s mandrels, which are also available with internal lubrication or minimum quantity lubrication. This complete package is particularly interesting for automated series bending or demanding bending tasks. However, companies that attach importance to an environmentally friendly choice of lubricant also found new process approaches in the discussions.
