Albromet GmbH donates 10,000 euros to “Hilfe für kranke Kinder – Die Stiftung in der Uni-Kinderklinik Tübingen”

Datum: 23. December 2025

Geretsried/Tübingen, 23 December 2025 – Albromet GmbH from Geretsried has presented the organization “Hilfe für kranke Kinder – Die Stiftung der Uni-Kinderklinik Tübingen” with a donation totalling 10,000 euros. The sum will benefit two important projects in equal parts: the social fund and the “Magic formula against fear” project.

The official donation handover took place on Tuesday, 09.12.2025, in Tübingen. The two managing directors of Albromet GmbH, Andrea Bäring and Stefan Hübner, were there in person and took the opportunity to get a comprehensive picture of the foundation’s work. They were able to experience first-hand how urgently financial support is needed and how the donations specifically benefit the children and their families.

Half of the donations go into the so-called social fund, which provides unbureaucratic support to families in acute emergency situations. If parents are suddenly no longer able to work due to their child’s serious illness, have to cope with long hospital stays or incur additional costs for travel, accommodation or special aids, the social fund provides quick and targeted help. It ensures that financial burdens are not added to the already heavy emotional burden.

The second half supports the “Magic formula against anxiety” project, which gives young patients joy and distraction in difficult times. Each magic bag is filled individually; with toys to distract them, craft materials or small surprises that provide positive moments during their stay at the clinic. The project helps to alleviate the fear of examinations (e.g. blood tests), treatments and medical procedures for children and young people who come to the clinic because of an illness, whether as inpatients or outpatients, and thus reduce pain, stress and possible traumatization.

The managing directors of Albromet GmbH emphasized the importance of social commitment during the handover. “As a company, we bear responsibility – not only for our employees and our economic success, but also for the social environment in which we live and work,” said Stefan Hübner. “With our donation, we want to make a contribution that goes where it is really needed.”

His managing director colleague Andrea Bäring added: “Sick children and their families often don’t have a strong lobby. At the same time, a child’s illness puts them in situations that turn their entire lives upside down. Any support is valuable – both emotionally and financially. It was important to us to help right there.”

With this donation, Albromet GmbH is sending a clear signal of social commitment and social responsibility.

About help for sick children – The foundation at the University Children’s Hospital in Tübingen

The HILFE FÜR KRANKE KINDER foundation has been committed to providing holistic care for children, young people and their families at the University Children’s Hospital in Tübingen for 25 years. It supports projects that go beyond pure medical treatment – from child-friendly equipment in the clinic, psychosocial support and parent counseling to the financing of special medical equipment and innovative care concepts. The initiative was founded in 1999 by Sigrid Kochendörfer and Thomas Hassel together with the psychosocial team at the children’s hospital, and was merged into the current foundation in 2016. The Foundation Council monitors the use of donations and compliance with the statutes, while the Foundation Board is responsible for operational management.
