Material properties
Innovative, beryllium-free copper alloy with very high thermal conductivity, high electrical conductivity, medium strength and good wear resistance; non-magnetic, good corrosion resistance, beryllium-free alternative to CuCo2Be or ALBROMET-W240
Application examples
Plastic mold making, injection molding tools, tool making, mold making, mold inserts for thermal requirements, electrode holders, welding technology (electrodes), permanent molds, energy technology, guide rails and sliding elements in temperature-stressed areas
Processing
When hardened, good machinability with carbide tools. Weldable with the same material. Limited spark erosion possible (higher electrode erosion than with steel due to the high conductivity)
