Material properties
Tough construction material with good sliding properties; insensitive to impact and shock; high corrosion resistance to neutral, basic and aqueous acidic media as well as seawater, high resistance to cavitation
Application examples
Particularly highly stressed drive parts, gear wheels; plain bearings with high static or dynamic loads; worm wheels, valve guides, screws and nuts for corrosion applications; components in the chemical, marine and food industries
Processing
Easy to machine, use of carbide tools recommended, good weldability (filler materials based on CuAl or NiAl), brazing possible
