On January 24, 2025, co-founder and most recently sole shareholder of ALBROMET GmbH Friedrich Hübner passed away after a long and serious illness. The Geretsried-based company was founded on July 1, 1994 by a team of four people. From the very beginning, the focus was on the business idea of supplying customers with innovative, high-performance copper alloys flexibly and quickly. Until his retirement twelve years ago, Friedrich Hübner was primarily responsible for human resources, company organization and IT, where he helped drive the company’s development and growth.
The company was handed over to his son Stefan Hübner at the end of March 2024. This meant that the succession of the company with its team of around 20 people was seamlessly and successfully resolved. Friedrich Hübner was closely involved in the development of ALBROMET until his death.
Since January 1, 2024, Andrea Bäring, daughter-in-law of Friedrich Hübner, has been the sole managing director and continues the family tradition. Above all, she is driving forward the modernization of the medium-sized company together with owner Stefan Hübner, thus setting the course for the future-oriented development of the company.
“Some of our customers certainly have personal memories of Friedrich Hübner with his calm and considered approach. We are doing everything we can to successfully carry on his legacy and continue to grow the company in its core areas of expertise. On a personal level, Friedrich Hübner’s ideas will continue to shape our corporate culture for a long time to come and his memory will stay alive,” says Andrea Bäring.
