Bending mandrels and crease straighteners are essential aids in the pipe bending process. They ensure that tubes are bent with high precision, quality and consistency. Unwanted deformations such as kinks, folds or crushing when bending the pipe are thus avoided. ALBROMET tube bending tools can be used on all standard tube bending machines.
Bending mandrels support the inside of the pipe and prevent the pipe from buckling.
The pipe cross-section thus remains largely unchanged during the bending process.
The internal support minimizes the formation of wrinkles or other surface defects.
The result is a smoother and more visually appealing surface.
Matching crease smoothers are also available.
The bending mandrels are made from high-strength ALBROMET aluminum bronze or tool steel.
A coating is applied to match the respective tube material in order to further increase the sliding properties and improve the bending process.
